To get the direction in which iPhone is pointing using compass

To get the direction in which iPhone is pointing using compass

I am trying to get the direction in which the phone is pointing. I want to
implement it in the following way:
I will get the user location from the GPS.
Then i will get the direction in which the phone is pointing.
After getting the direction, i have to add a specific distance to the
current location say i am at location XYZ and i am heading to south then
100ft to be added to my current latitude and longitude towards south
direction.
Can anybody share his great experience or knowledge, how can i accomplish
this. I got the current location from the GPS but unable to do it further.
